Diquark condensation in high density baryon matter

Abstract We argue that cold quark matter is a diquark Bose condensate. The Cooper pairs of QCD are spin-isospin zero, color anti-symmetric quark pairs. For two light flavors, instanton effects lead to gaps on the order of 50 MeV.
