Thermal Photon Emission from a QGP Fluid

We compare numerical results of thermal photon distribution from hot QCD matter produced by high energy nuclear collisions, based on a hydro dynamical model, with recent experimental data obtained by CERN WA80. Using the asymptotic value of the slope pa­ rameter of the transverse momentum distribution, we discuss the characteristic temperature of the QCD fluid.
