NLO predictions for the growth ofF2 at smallx and comparison with experimental data

We present parametrizations for the proton structure functionF2 in the next to leading order in perturbative QCD. We consider that the dominant term toF2(x, Q2) should grow asx−ψs for smallx values, with the exponentλS being essentially independent ofQ2. Comparisons with the most recent H1 and ZEUS data confirm the valueλS∼0.35 obtained previously from fits to low energy data.
