Rosner-Worah-type quark mass matrix and ansatz of maximal CP violation.

A democratic form version of the Rosner-Worah quark mass matrix is discussed from a pheonmenological point of view. It is pointed out that an ansatz of maximal [ital CP] violation'' can provide reasonable values of the Kobayashi-Maskawa mixings.
