/ Abstract
Abstract The reaction e + e − → ωπ 0 → π + π − π 0 π 0 has been studied with SND detector at VEPP-2M e + e − collider in the vicinity of the φ meson resonance. The observed interference pattern in the energy dependence of the cross section is consistent with existence of the decay φ → ωπ 0 with a branching ratio of B ( φ → ωπ 0 )=(4.8 +1.9 −1.7 ±0.8)×10 −5 . The real and imaginary parts of the decay amplitude were measured. The φ → ωπ 0 decay was observed for the first time.
