Stability of antiferromagnetism at high magnetic fields in Mn 3 Si

We report on low-temperature measurements of the specific heat, resistivity, and magnetization of the itinerant antiferromagnet ${\mathrm{Mn}}_{3}\mathrm{Si}.$ The stability of the magnetic state up to 14 T inferred from the invariance of these bulk properties is incompatible with the itinerant magnetism expected for a conventional Fermi liquid.
