Helium and Iron in X-ray Galaxy Clusters

The X-ray emitting hot plasma in galaxy clusters represents the 80 per centof the total amount of cluster baryons. It is composed by a primordial com-ponent polluted from the outputs of the star formation activity taking placein galaxies, that are the cold phase accounting for about 10 per cent of thecluster barionic budget (see Fig. 1).
