/ Abstract

to establish radio continuum spectra fordecam etric radio sourcesin theU TR-2 catalogue (Braude etal.1978{1994). From these,we selecta sam ple of23 sourceswith ultra steep radio spectra ( (cid:11) (cid:20) (cid:0) 1.2,S (cid:24) (cid:23) (cid:11) ) and present accurate positions and sizes from FIRST and N V SS.The search for opticalcounterparts from the A PM (object) and D SS (im -age)databases,aswellasinfrared and X {ray identi(cid:12)cations ofthese U TR sourcesare in progress.
